Ca-Ryn graduated with an honours law degree in the University of Reading. She was admitted as an advocate and solicitor in the High Court of Malaya in January 2011 and she obtained a diploma in International Arbitration from Brickfields Asia College in the same year.
Ca-Ryn practises in the areas of commercial and civil dispute resolution at various levels of the Malaysian Courts, in arbitration as well as adjudication. Her portfolio encompasses contractual, construction, corporate, winding up, enforcement and medical law related disputes. Ca-Ryn has also acted as an instructing solicitor in international disputes (Hong Kong, Brunei and Indonesia). On a corporate commercial side, Ca-Ryn has drafted agreements including commercial dealership contracts, vehicle rental contracts and tenancy agreements.
She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb). She is also part of the Editorial Team for Berita Timbangtara, a newsletter of the CIArb Malaysia Branch.
Beyond the legal realm, she is an exco member and volunteer of a non-profit organisation, Agape Vision, where she passionately devotes herself to empower underprivileged and at-risk youths.
Ca-Ryn aspires to live by the words of Mahatma Gandhi: "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
